I play a double bass kit and have a Mapex Falcon Hi-hat stand,which has removable legs. This attachment has given me all the versatility I need to have my Hi-hats right where I want.

buy this instead of the tama attachment This works great with my double bass dum kit. I have my hi hat pedal right next to my left bass pedal. The bass drum clamp is much better made on the pearl attachment because it will not destroy your bass drum hoope. It's also a little more sophisticated and provides a little more versatility for hi hat placement. It also has a memory lock on this device as well. Lastly, when I bought the tama attachment, it came with no instructions in English, but the pearl one did. The price of the pearl is about 10 dollars more but is well worth investing in it. I would recommend this to anyone that has a double bass kit.
