Pearl Mantels features fine furniture quality, stunning details and classic designs that will enhance any decor. This impressive piece has beautiful dimensional moldings that will frame your fireplace with grace and beauty for years to come. Made from Grade A medium density fiberboard, also known as MDF. MDF is a composite wood and is very commonly used for furniture, cabinetry, shelving and decorative moldings. Mantel ships in 3 pieces; 2 legs and 1 header. The legs attach easily to the header with nuts and bolts. Mitered hanger board assembly included for easy installation as well as a 3 piece mitered scribe molding set to hide any gaps after installation. This mantel has a 1 1/2" projection off of the wall leaving a nice pocket behind the mantel to accommodate your tile, stone, marble etc. Projection: 1 1/2" Interior Width: 48" Interior Height: 42" Width Outside Leg to Outside Leg at Base: 60" Shelf Length: 64" Shelf Depth: 7.87" Leg Depth: 3” Overall Height: 52.36" Weight 52 pounds. Nice piece but the way the legs attach arnt really that good because of not being wood had to make my own adapter with wood to support the legs

This mantel looks amazing and is a solid built piece. I wasted to much time looking around for a mantel because I thought this one was going to be cheaply made do to the amazing price. Should have bought it right out the gate, but at least I looked around. It was packaged very well. It was "very easy" to install myself, and I only have basic home fixing skills. Everyone has an opinion and receives a different item, so there is a good chance a few of them might not work according to the poor reviews. However, that is why most stores have return policies. We all just hope were not the one that gets the bad item, but that is life. Don't be scared away from this product because of poor reviews or the amazing price.

Fireplace Mantel was just as described. However, the mantel came damaged due to the strap around the box being too tight from whoever shipped it. I was not home during at the delivery time, so I was unable to check for damage prior to the delivery person just leaving it on my porch with the damage. Overall the Mantel looks Great and I will definitely be buying more on the next house flip. Thank You.
