This kitty backpack is amazingly crafted with only two improvements that could be made: 1) there needs to be better padding at the bottom, and 2) poo-bag dispensing hole is inconvenietly located. The floor board tends to jab into the small of my back with every step I take. My cat is only 11 pounds and I walk fairly slowly with an easy stroll... so that can't be it. Anyway, the rest of the product is built extremely well! Super comfy for the kitties with plenty of viewing windows for them. The floor board is soft and comfy and is apparently made out of a moisture proof internal material... one of my cats urinated in it and, upon washing, the board didn't fold or crumple. The pockets are handy, but the poo-bag is fairly irrelevant and not very conveniently placed because you have to remove the backpack and stress out your kitty just to reach the bag dispensing hole. It would serve better to have it in the back rather than the front so you can easily reach a hand back and pull a bag out. Straps are stout and comfortable, as is the handy top-handle.

This is a well made carrier/backpack unlike some other pet backpacks this is sturdy and has structure to it it unzips in 4 different places the top opens and on both sides plus there's a mesh window in front that also unzips so you can reach in for any reason which is more convenient then unzipping one of the mesh doors on the sides because then you run the risk of your pet getting out there's a good size pouch that snaps shut on the front below the mesh window to put treats, waste disposal bags or whatever you need to take with you I chose my fur baby girl Geisha to test it out and go outside in it for a walk she's a medium size cat I opened the side door and she got in I had no problem zipping it up she fit comfortably inside there's also a nice mat with Velcro that goes in the bottom for your pets comfort at first I picked it up by the handle and it felt heavier then I was expecting(Geishas on the cusp of being a plus sized cat lol) then I put the backpack on it felt a little bulky and it wasn't as easy getting through the door without the backpack hitting it I had to slide it on 1 arm to get it through then we went on are way it was comfortable carrying it but I could hear her getting upset rustling around inside and I knew it was time to go home she growled a little before I let her out idk for sure but I think it was because she's not use to the movement hopefully she gets use to it because I would use this for different things overall it's a good backpack

This is meant for hiking or walking while carrying your fur buddy in a nice, safe space. For the pet, it's a nice, tall, comfy space, well ventilated with a screen they can see through, a padded floor, and a clip that a harness can be attached to. There's also a outside pocket for treats and such. For the person doing the carrying,, the backpack is comfortable, very adjustable, nicely padded, and includes a chest strap. The heaviest of my kitties (9lbs)) and I went for a short walk, and he seemed to enjoy the experience. The backpack is nicely balanced though for someone who hasn't carried an passenger before, having a moving backpack is kinda weird at first. He settled in though, and seemed to enjoy himself. Note in the picture that he had plenty of headroom. The carrier is also impressively sturdy and didn't collapse when he got on top when his sister was inside. The fabric is heavy canvas with excellent stitching. Zippers are all double zippers. the mesh (always a weak on these kinds of things) looks to be pretty strong. There's a limit with something like this. I would say a large cat to a small dog (how much do you really want to carry), but I think it's very sturdy carrier and would use it (did use it) with no reservations.

I was on the hunt for a spacious yet sturdy pet backpack—something beyond the usual purse or sling I use for my chi-weenie. Most of the backpacks I came across had those trendy "spacecraft window" designs, but they always seemed too cramped and lacked enough pockets. I needed a bag that could comfortably hold my 14 lbs of pure muscle cats without feeling like it was about to collapse.Let me just say—I am absolutely *blown away* by this backpack! Every side, plus the top, features breathable mesh, giving my pets a clear view while ensuring proper ventilation. One of the coolest features? A front pouch that lets them pop their head out, plus zippered side openings for even more options. There's also a built-in seatbelt strap designed to attach to their harness, and the zipper is sturdy enough to keep everything secure without worrying about accidental openings.Comfort-wise, this backpack is a game-changer. It has a detachable hard top for structure, a soft cushioned bottom for comfort, and even a hidden pouch underneath—perfect for tucking in an XS puppy pad if needed. The bottom pouch also has plenty of room for essentials like a leash, poo bags, a collapsible water bowl, and even your phone—without pressing against your pet.One thing I *really* appreciate is the back padding. The dense cushion prevents strain on my back and keeps sharp claws from digging in. It also features an adjustable chest strap, making it easy to secure for better weight distribution. And when they say it's sturdy, they mean it—the steel wire frame makes all the difference. I tested it with Peep (a formerly feral momma cat at 8 lbs), Sloopy (a 10-lb muscle tabby), and even my chi-weenie Lilith (a foot long and 10.5 lbs). It easily fits a larger breed cat too—like their Russian Blue dad, who’s a solid 14 lbs of muscle. Thanks to this backpack, I no longer strain my back carrying my pets around. Whether it’s a quick trip to the garden or a vet visit, this bag makes it effortless. I *cannot* recommend it enough!
