No matter how you mix it or doctor it up, a concentrate isn't going to taste like fresh-brewed coffee or espresso, so definitely don't expect that from this bottle. That said, this is probably one of the best if not the best coffee concentrate I've had to-date. It has a lot of the robust flavor that's typical of Peet's coffee without the characteristic bitter or weird aftertastes that commonly accompany concentrates.It's a small bottle, but only a tablespoon is needed to mix up a 6-oz latte. For this, I'd advise sticking to iced drinks to get more flavor as I find the heated water options lose some of the nuance, but it works well for cold drinks and espresso cocktails, and it's hard to beat the convenience of having it on hand for a quick fix when needed and/or making the standard isn't feasible.

Comes in a very nice box. But I think it was an overkill ... such a huge box for one small 8 fl oz bottle. Kudos to the presentation but no no for conservation.Now to the coffee. This is 8 fl oz of pure coffee concentrate. You will need to add one tablespoon of coffee to 6 oz of water ... hot or cold. No mentions to where the coffee is sourced from. However, this is supposed to be dark roast espresso blend. I prepared a cup with hot boiling water. Followed instructions to the T ... even using a measuring cup and spoon. Well, the resulting cup of coffee tasted so bland. So very light. Not dark roast at all to me. There are no hints of truffle or hazelnut as claimed. All in all, it is a cup of very bland light coffee. Real coffee should not be prepared and drank this way, in my opinion. I feel that concentrates or syrups like these should only be used for novelty drinks like cocktails, ice cream, etc.Peet's Coffee is still a good brand of coffee. But coffee in concentrate form is not for real coffee drinkers. Use this, if you must, for your novelty drink concoctions.

I’ve been a Peetnik for many years and was happy to have the convenience of trying the concentrate via an Amazon quick delivery. The concentrate definitely lives up to the quality I expect from Peet’s and is a very tasty option for when I want a quick cup without the process of using my Breville espresso machine. Best of the many concentrated coffee I have tried.

This is an interesting coffee concoction. I've never had a coffee concentrate before! I like the idea of being able to balance just how strong the coffee is by diluting it with a bit of water. You can somewhat do this, the range at which you can dilute though is very slim as the coffee flavor starts to taste very weak with a small amount of extra water. This tastes much better than instant coffee to me, though not quite as good as a properly brewed cup of coffee (and/or cold brew). There's also not a great way to have this coffee hot (I tried it with boiled water and it didn't mix well with the concentrate, the flavor was muted). This is probably best for those that prepare coffee drinks / cocktails where they just need raw coffee as an ingredient rather than a beverage itself.

This is a small bottle of coffee concentrate. The presentation box is double the size which protected the bottle.The coffee concentrate is really strong, stronger than my cold brew coffee bottles I've gotten.I like using this and diluting it quite a bit with ice, milk, and sugar syrup. I don't measure out precisely but I think my ratio is a lot 1 part coffee to around 10 parts milk plus lots of ice and sugar syrup to get the flavor and coffee strength I like.I like that this is an option I can choose and I may get another bottle for road trips

Good but be aware the serving size is only 6oz so if you are anything like us the bottle makes more like 8 servings if you are making a tumbler of cold brew. I did enjoy it in my normal drink with caramel and Italian sweet cream. I'm not sure that $21 is a good deal for me though.

Ordered this as I enjoy iced lattes but don't always want to wait for my espresso to cool down or dilute it with ice in the morning.This is a great substitute and the flavor is very smooth. I even tried some straight, just to see how that would be. I don't recommend it, but it did have a solid profile and was more like drinking a strong espresso cold than battery acid... Which is sometimes the case with concentrates.Overall, this tastes like a premium product and it arrived in premium packaging. No complaints and I'll definitely consider ordering more.
