These need better quality control and the sizes of each compared to the others vary. I was able to put one bracket on the end of a post that a different bracket from the same box wouldn’t fit. Also the shipping wrap needs to be better as the paint chipped off the edges and will cause the brackets to rust. As I unpacked them I got a lot of paint flakes on my fingers.. One was even slightly bent inward and is not useable (or I have to figure out how to unbend it.. NOT recommended.

These brackets are phenomenal. They are heavy duty and the metal is solid all the way around with no stress areas that will result in unreliable performance over time. And they are really appealing to look at. The dark color literally makes it possible to forget they are there. That is a perfect bracket to me. Highly recommended.

3 side broke when I installed them but other than that they are ok.

The unit is well built and sized correctly. The issue I have is the screws that came with them are bugle head. Since the unit does not have counter sunk screw holes the bugle head sits incorrectly and look wrong aesthetically I had to replace the screws with pan head.

Love these brackets! My husband is building me a cooking porch off of our back patio and they worked perfect! He had to shave down the 4x4 slightly in order to fit the bracket on. They are heavy duty and look great! My husband wasn’t a fan of the screws that came with them so he bought a different kind and painted them black. Very easy to work with and he was able to do most of the work himself. Definitely would recommend and will buy again for another project.
