I bought this motor for a replacement on an older model Harman Advance (2006). While the motor works great, the wires are about half the length needed. I ended up cutting the cord off the old motor and soldering it to the new one to lengthen the harness. I'm aware that some changes were made to the Harman Advance on the newer models after Harman was bought out, so I don't know if this would be a problem with the newer ones.

I'm 70 and arthritic, and laying on the floor in contortions I haven't wished for since TWISTER at teen parties was not my chosen way to spend the day, but the Fan Motor arrived a day ahead of schedule (I did pay for expediting), and there was not a second to lose. I had already taken off the old one (used a right-angle grinder with a cut-off blade on the fan... that sucker just wouldn't budge, cherry red and cat's paws for pullers, nope). But other than twister, the new fan motor and fan went on with predictable calm. I did have to prick-punch one of the studs to keep it from turning, but my 12v Milwaukee right-angle driver (nearly a must for we old fahts) and a selection of 1/4" drive sockets plus a 3" extension made reassembly pretty predictable. I cut the pigtail off the old motor and worried about making extensions for the new wiring, but they had provided the necessary extra crimp-on terminals, so I didn't need anything new at all. Old motor was the main problem that caused other problems. Replaced motor and stove runs perfectly,I would’ve done it sooner if I had known.

US Stove 8500 Multi-fuel. My combustion fan died. I replaced with this one and it was a SNAP. Ran great all season. Even if it dies when I fire it up again for next season, still well worth the money.
