These manila folders have a VERY, VERY SMOOTH FINISH that allows them to easily be pulled or inserted into nearly full drawers of other folders.I have bought 3 other brands of folders and they all have a rough finish which makes it hard to put in a stuffed drawer or withdraw from a stuffed drawer which causes the tab to become frayed or even pulled off.

I like that the file folders have a reasonable amount of expansion built into them, with the tabs remaining visible when the expansion is put to use.I will buy these again!

I was thrilled to find a heavy manilla folder after so many disappointing purchases of so called heavy, sturdy folders. The cost is high I think but in this case you do get what you pay for.
