When all of the controls were set to run, the burner would fail to ignite. I replaced this pressure switch on my 16 year old Pentair MinMax 250 CH and now it works like a champ! Excellent quality, and easy to install.

recently my 15 years old heater stopped worked and i found out it was due to the faulty pressure switch. So here is why i am giving this replacement switch a 2 stars. if you look at the picture of the switch, notice there is the top round piece and the bottom piece with the threading. My old pressure switch is made of metal and copper. the copper piece is the piece where it bolts onto the heater. When i was removing the old switch, the top piece snapped off from the bottom(copper) piece because it was very tight. But i was still able to remove it b/c the copper is strong enough. With this new replacement switch, bottom piece is made of plastic. As you can imagine, if one need to replace it again in 10 or 15 years, the plastic won't be able to handle the strength of the wrench, so you are going to have a BIG problem is it snap off.
