I found the pen difficult to adapt to due to the tip. I’ve been using it for more than a month and still struggle. When properly aligned, it writes smoothly with a nice line. I really like the length and weight of it. Not sure I’ll buy it again but I will use it until it runs out of ink.

...but lo and behold here they are! I found my first one ever in an office many years ago, and loved it more than one ought love a simple, disposable pen. When it finally gave up its last drop of ink, I tried to buy a replacement, but was undone! Alas, Pentel had ceased production. Years later, on a whim, I searched for it again and BOOM. My favorite pen. Just as I remembered. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you Pentel.

This pen writes really rather remarkably well, at a cost that defies belief, particularly as it includes P&P all the way from Japan (but it arrived in what seemed the blink of an eyelid).I love trying new pens, but this was a real eye-opener. It writes extremely smoothly and easily, and you can achieve almost calligraphic effects with minimal effort. It doesn't leak, drip or splutter, and the ink dries almost instantaneously. I am very happy to sign official documents with it (which is a bigger thing than it might appear at first sight; I have only ever used fountain pens hitherto), and will certainly buy more of these.I can't say how long the ink will last, or how resilient the nib will prove, but at this price, for this truly remarkable writing quality, I have no hesitation at all in giving this 5 stars in terms of its price/quality ratio.
