This saw is absolutely gutless. Cutting sheet metal auto body and it bogs down and stops with even the slightest pressure. Without pressure on it, it won't cut at all and with pressure it stop reciprocating. Absolute trash.

So disappointed wanted to work on rust repair with my son we needed a body saw to cut out the rot. Any time I tried to use it the blade would stop immediately and it would just hiss air. I tried oiling it to see if that helped it did not, I tried adjusting the air flow and pressure up and down no difference. I do not know why it is getting any more than 1 star. If it is like mine, I would not trust that those are real consumers because this thing is utterly useless. DO NOT BUY!

Initially I thought I had a problem because the blade did not move when I pulled the trigger.That was actually my error. A note for everyone. When you insert the blade into the shaftmake sure you center it properly using the two set screws on both sides of the shaft.Or else the blade binds in the guide block as I had discovered when I was disassembling it with the intention of putting it back in the box it came in. The slot in the blade block could have been made with more clearance, but could be modified easily or will wear in a little bit with more use.I have had both tool truck air saws and cheap ones. They both seem to perform similar and both last quite long without any trouble. This one even has a speed adjusting screw on the top side of the tool.The extra screw holes dont bother me. Its not missing any funtional parts. The extra hole on topwould accomodate a different variation of blade guide. One has to realize that they build these with the intent of potentially sourcing various componentsbased on, price and availabilty.Overall it seems good. I will try to update later regarding performance and durability after someextended use. So in case you dont hear back from me it means its still working.

Came in with missing parts and not sure why a 3rd hole without a screw means. I would give a better rating if item came in complete. Not sure if i should use it without knowing what the missing screws are for or send back. Maybe seller will send missing screws!!!!
