We needed this for our camping trip because camping trips normally consist of hiking trips and our little chihuahua terrier can’t walk as far as a larger dog and we knew she’d tire in the heat and from distance. We walked her until she was tired and then were able to finish our hike by putting her into the carrier to allow her to rest and allow us to continue the hike. Easy to use and clasps and zips closed. Adjustable straps. Our dog is 14 pounds….a little chub bucket girl.. but she fit perfectly in this.!

This comes with extra straps and no instructions on how to use it. There is a video on the product page but still no mention of the extra straps that don’t seem to fit anywhere. With the design being only over the shoulders and not very secure it doesn’t seem like it would be comfortable for hiking as the straps would slip and need to be adjusted a lot. The design has some promise but needs to be adjusted.

There is no way to really lock the adjustable straps. It’s dangerous.

After measuring my pet carefully, I ordered the size it said to get. My 13lb poodle was too long to fit in it. Returned it and ordered a K9 Sports Trainer Backpack.
