My printer will not recognize the color ink cartridge. I ended up having to buy an HP 63 original twin pack of black and color combo. Cheaper isn't always better.

Great alternative to Canon expensive ink cartridges. Works perfectly and lasts a reasonable amount of time. I suspect that buyers saying this product does not work for them should first go through the auto cleaning process of their printers before writing a bad review.Will definitely buy again!

If I could have given 0 stars, I would have. I ordered this ahead of time, to make sure I'd have more black ink when I ran out... and when I finally needed it, it doesn't work. The message I keep getting is, something wrong with black ink cartridge. Very aggravated that I can't print what I want to print today... AND now I gotta do a ton of extra work to get my money back and order somewhere else aGain and wait aGain, AFTER I spend a ton on a cartridge from walmart to hold me over. AND I just found out, IT'S NOT RETURNABLE... don't take the gamble!!!

The printers are very inexpensive but the ink can cost quite a lot.Note that it is much cheaper to send photos out to print. Also, with inkjet you need to protect the photos with some kind of lamination or the ink can be scraped off. Finally, you probably do not want to leave these out in the sunlight. They will probably fade. This, compared to modern photo lab prints which are difficult to get to fade in sunlight!Still, I recommend the product it is very handy to be able to print both black+white and color photos. Be aware that even if you use black+white printing, some color ink will be used in each photo. That's ok... am just mentioning that you may be surprised at how fast you deplete your ink supplies.Generally, I use two color ink cartidge for each black and white ink cartridge I use. Maybe this is helpful to know. You may experience different outcomes depending on how many black+white documents you print black+white text on plain paper, which I believe typically only uses the black+white cartridge.
