I thought the value seemed great & the detail was good, however once I tried using them as advertised, I realized something was wrong. My jeweler friend informed me that the punch ends are made from cast zinc & NOT stainless steel. They will work okay for soft leather but nit on any metals except for lead.

There is a nice variety in the set. They do not work well for metal stamping. I tried both by hand/mallot/hammer and then by an Arbor Press. The only one that worked on metal was the butterfly :-) Great on leather stamping, both softer and thick.

Stamps are so cute, but rod is not stable for metal stamping. Maybe put in the normal style stamp so you have sturdy stamp.

Terrible product not sure if it's the stamp itself or that the rod doesn't allow for a good stamp. Either way it doesn't work no matter how hard you hammer or how many times you hammer.
