oh dear, what is going on with CDs????thought I had found a brand that worked on macbookpro, had a 25 spindle of a Phillips CDR Audio, saw these thought they should be OK...nope, more coasters....guess CDs are old tech and the quality is going down the tubes...oh well....a small update. I tried another cd burning software as I wanted to try every avenue I could to see if I could get these to work. Found a burning software on the Sourceforge opensource site: XLD. After a battle with the Apple security protections got the thing installed and it works like a charm. Wrote 10 discs perfectly. But a consumer should not have to go through so many steps to use what is now almost old tech.Anyway, these discs work great if you happen to use the right software on your machine, upgraded to 3 stars...

I would not recommend buying this product. Every other cd wouldn't let me burn the cd for music. It would act like it was burning and then after it burned the first song it would stop. I'd put the cd back. It would list all the songs but only play the first so I would then have to throw the cd out.

I have a fussy CD changer and these discs play flawlessly. Would buy again - very high quality media.

The 50 disc spool gives me plenty of discs to burn music onto and I have used about 75% of the discs and unlike some reviews of such products I have not found any discs that were damaged or gave me issues relating to compatibility in cd players or in burning music to discs. I've never had any problems with Philips CD-Rs.

All of the cds worked fine no issues. You need to just be careful when you use Windows Media Player to burn your CD. Sometimes after you burn the first one and you insert the new blank it can show you errors...It is misleading of the software. Try to insert CD again and click on any other folder and go back to you blank CD folder...There will be no issues or errors...

This product performs exactly as expected; each of the fifty CD's can hold up to 80 min of music and or 700 MB of data. They are affordable yet have great sound quality. I have had no trouble burning playlists onto them to play in my car. There is even a section on the face of each CD to write down the name of the playlist, album, etc.

Excellent quality. I've burned 48 of the 50 CD-Rs for a bit over a year since I bought them and have not had any discs failures. The only failures were due to my lack of knowledge that certain language symbols on song/track file names aren't recognized by some MP3/DVD players after I burned them as data CDs.Burner: ASUS DRW-24F1ST (revision c?)Software: ImgBurn 2.5.8.0Write Speed: 24x (technically the max speed is 52x on these discs, but I read that lowering the speed may help out on the reliability of the results)

Philips manufactures a whole bunch of stuff, and their blank CD's are really pretty good. They are my "go-to" when the higher-priced CD I usually use to record copies of my internet radio shows is not available. Blank CD's are manufactured by maybe ten companies world-wide so one is usually as good as another, but I have to pay close attention to quality specifically for show copies. Philips does the job and at a good price.

no issues - they work great. I have found there is a really difference in quality from brand to brand, and sometimes even from package to package, but these Philips have been rock solid. I really only use these to share music. I know, I'm Old School. This is a trusted brand and I haven't had any that didn't work right or had to be tossed. think that says a lot right there. Even though CD-R's seem to be used less and less, I like to have a backup spindle just in case. I I highly recommend these, especially if they come at a discount. Maybe you should stock up since CD drives are becoming things of the past (I actually had to buy and external drive when I purchased a new mac... sigh. Go get them before their dinosaur gone.

Good price, quality product, arrived well packed and fast (clearly ymmv based on seller). Go much cheaper per disk and the options appear to be much less reliable. My advice is on the day you look, pick your quality level and buy based on per disk price. A little more effort required, but better than getting a bunch where half fail.
