This is a very simple putting mat. It has 8' putting distance, which is good. It has a soft sided cup, which I think helps to mimic an actual cup when you putt too hard and the ball pops right across the cup. It has a simple backstop too. What I think is limiting with this mat, is that the drag on the ball is greater than most greens I have been on, and there is no variation to the mat. Either in terms of speed change, or non-flat surfaces. These are pretty important, and for the price this sells for I expected some of these features.

Good size putting green, the distance is clearly marked and the details added are great for getting the perfect shot. The mat is thick and the material is very close representation of the actual green on the golf course. Comes with a nice size travel bag that fits the mat and the speed cone in there nicely. This would be a great gift for your husband.

Great putting mat. My wife bought this for my birthday and I use it everyday at work between meetings.

The material and construction seem excellent. Balls roll smoothly and very, very fast. You definitely have to gauge your speed control. The portable silicone cup is no good to me. Otherwise I would have given top marks for the mat.

Solid training tool. Helps with putting stoke, feel and aim line. Especially helpful in the 6-8 foot range which are great scorecard helpers.I found it lays better on a tile or cement floor than on top of a rug.

I got this as a gift for my son, whose birthday is months away. And it will be a hard wait to gift this to him!Upon unboxing, I accounted for everything this was to include: This set came with the silicon training cup, distance markers, swing length guide pamphlet, the foam ball stopper as well as a really impressive drawstring bag, to store and to tote. The mat is really nice synthetic carpet-like fabric. The dye and colors help everything really pop, so it’s no struggle to see what you’re doing. Even better, no horrible odor where you need to air this out ahead of time or for days after gifting or receiving. I think it will take a bit of effort to get this to lay flat enough, for a golfer to find the mat not impede upon their swing practice, though. I think this could be sped up by sticking this in the dryer for no less than 3-4 mins on a low heat….then laid out on the ground with a few heavier objects to get any pokey-uppy corners or sides to lay flat. For this price, this is a high quality set for a golfer who is stuck in rain during the on season or, worse, snow during the off season. This looks like something that will make those days a bit brighter and goal focused on getting that swing to be like the Pros! Highly recommended!

This PIN Point Golf (PPG) Putting Mat is a really nice quality product that is useful in practicing aim, speed, and overall improving your putting. This arrives rolled up tightly and in a carry bag. It unrolls impressively flat right away without needing to give a lot of time to settle in and be flat. This makes it great for using anywhere because you can pack it up and set it up quickly and easily. The mat material is very nice - soft enough and the right texture that it works well for putting, but it's really thick and high-quality. I was impressed right away. The foam backboard uses hook and loop spots so that it sticks firmly to the mat and can go on either end. The silicone speed cup is interesting and actually works very well. It sits on the surface but is so thin that it doesn't impact putting. This allows you to move it around a bit to change up the putting. If you putt too hard, it will roll out the backside, so it is really helpful for getting the right amount of speed on the ball too. This makes it really good for training and practicing because you get to work both aim and speed. The different tick marks on the mat also provide some reference so you can understand how you are swinging and how different adjustments impact your aim and speed accuracy.Overall, this is a really nice putting mat. It is highly portable, excellent quality, and is a great tool for practicing putting. Highly recommended!

This is a nice quality putting practice mat, and I really like the duffle it comes with to carry everything around, and keep it all together. It will be great for practice and because it's so portable it can be taken and used anywhere. Only four stars because I'm not really understanding the "hole" that comes with it that says it's for speed training and it doesn't explain it anywhere. Seems like there would be a hole or way to "stick" that to the mat, but I guess you might not want it there all the time, so probably that's why no hole? I've also seen other mats that have actual holes and a ball return which would be even more cool. This was expensive for what it is, compared to others I've seen, but I also see they have cut the price substantially since I got it, so they must already have realized that. This is my first putting mat so overall - I think it's a good one if you can get it for under $40-$50.
