Functions well. Contains necessary tools for installation. I don't know why the best selling Dongar one costs much more than this and clearly there's no need to get the expensive one.

Great customer service, fast response and the adapter they sent worked perfectly. Install was very fast and worked right away, they even added a 3 year warranty for it for free. And extra cable adapters in case they were needed which came in handy as the camera came with very long ones, these were perfect length to manage to hide them in the trim panels. 10/10 would recommend.

My wife has a 2024 CX-50 premium plus. I purchased this adapter to run a 70mai dashcam that requires 3A power. I was very happy with this product. It is a tight fit in the cover behind the mirror for sure, but with a little patience and a bit of fidgeting, I got a nice clean install and it works as designed. I especially liked that the adapter comes with a voltmeter to ensure it will work before you start stuffing it in the cover. Worked so well I got one that fits my vehicle.

Using in a cx-9, works to intercept 12 volt power. USB connections convert it to 5 volt for DashCam use. Note to cx9 or cx5 drivers the power is only on when it’s running.

It worked perfectly for my 2024 ND Miata GT. I was impressed with all the items it comes with. It came with what is pictured and more. The additional items was a voltage tester attachment and a universal wiring and installation kit. The instructions were pretty good as well. I used this adapter to power my dash cam and it worked perfectly.

I was a little worried when I initially ordered since there were not links to videos on how to install (I found those easily on YouTube). This kit was way better than the one I saw installed on YouTube though! It comes with two USB ports, two separate plastic prying tools, cable ties, stickers, and other little bits to make the install super easy. Cables on the USB ports are the perfect length for my Mazda and have power indicator LEDs on each USB... the total install took me no more than 3 minutes start to finish!
