Right out of the box, this pizza peel assembles easily and does exactly what I need. I have an entry-level pizza oven and wanted something better than a spatula for turning pizzas—this gets that job done. It’s not fancy, but for the price, I give it five stars. The materials are solid, and it screws together quickly. If you’re using a pizza oven frequently, you might want a higher-end option, but for casual use at this price point, this works well. The only small downside is the lack of grip on the handle.

I have been making pizza and breads at home for years because I and several of my family and friends have food allergies. I am always looking to add a new peel to my collection because some are better than others for certain things like any other tool. My dough tend to be a bit wetter because of the flours I use as well as I use a sourdough pizza dough. They perforations do not work well with my type of homemade dough, even for a turning peel after they have cooked in the oven for a bit. However the adjustable handle is wonderful eve if ti is metal. I strongly prefer a wooden handle with a metal peel. The handle is on the lightweight side but still well balanced and different lengths so you do not loose much control from the lightweight handle. The handle alone makes this useful in an oven or on a grill for different effects and pizza dough. i found the connection from the peel to the handle a bit prominent and likely to possibly catch the dough and preventing its to fully release and or to wrinkle up into an inedible mass in the oven. However with practice and parchment paper on the initial placement this should take care of this possible defect. This would be a nice introductory peel to see if you like using one. I have used mine on even pre-made or store bought pizza because it give more control placing in the oven. The construction quality is decent with no real defects except for the unusually prominent connectors (thicker than my full size peel). It is a good value for the money and should wear well with usage. Since you usually just rinse or hand wash any peel they are easy to clean and maintain.I would recommend this for an introductory peel. but I still prefer a wood handle and metal peel for the best and most reliable control in usage.

My pizza oven is only about 13 inches wide. Most other turning peels I looked at seemed to be designed for commercial ovens; much too large for mine. But at 8", this peel is small enough for me to be able to rotate the pizza conveniently and getting a good spin. It's lightweight so you don't get tired. And I like that it's adjustable by having a three-part handle. But I only need two for my needs. The only thing I didn't quite like is that when you fully seat the end handle into the peel, the flat end that the lanyard is attached to, isn't parallel with the peel. So, if you go to hang this on a wall without using a lanyard, it won't lay flat. A very minor issue that doesn't impact the use of the peel. Just bothersome if I had OCD. But I still recommend this.

This is a great turning peel, I love that you can break it down into 3 parts for storage! Or you could hang it on the wall too. I bought it for home, so I will break it down and keep it in a drawer. It is not a huge one, but it is large enough to pull about a 10 inch pizza or so maybe a little bigger. It would turn a larger one easily though. It is solid, and well made. I would recommend getting it, if you are thinking about it. The last handle did stick a little when trying to screw it on however it was COLD from being in a UPS van for God knows how long. Once it got room temp it was more smooth, so if you have issues getting it together, just wait until it is not super cold and it will be easier, you can also put a little grease on it too, or just work it a bit ware it down, the paint is likely what is stopping it from screwing in smoothly. Nothing to complain about though - for me. It ended up working out and has worked smoothly every time after.

This “Pizza Turning Peel, Joyfair Perforated Stainless Steel Pizzas Paddle Spatula for Rotating Sliding, Metal Accessories Tool with Detachable Handle, Oven Safe & Easy Cleanup (8 Inch) (1, 8 Inch)” is a good turning peel for pizza. Solid, and well built; and worked well. If you have one of those pizza oven like an OONI at home, you *need* this. Insert at an angle, like 7:30 position, and then turn the handle anti-clockwise to 4:30 position, and that turned your cooking pizza. Do this every 30-60sec, you will get your pizza perfectly cooked, and not burnt. This turning peel is your friend, and the price is great too.Only one issue, is that this turning peel is ridiculously long, insanely long, really don’t know how one needs it THIS long. Not really a big issue, this product comes with two ~16inches handle sections, instead of using both the sections, just use 1 section of it, then it is the perfect length for the job mentioned above.Thank you for reading this review, I hope that this review & the pictures are helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.
