  • ✔️ Accurate from freeze-your-butt-off cold (-50 °C) to instantly-boil-your-innards hot (500 °C)
  • ✔️ Totally linear temperature response improves sensing accuracy across the range
  • ✔️ 15 mm long. 3 mm diameter sensor cartridge
  • ✔️ 2 m long bare leads allow for easy adaptation to any 3D printer build
  • ⚠ Warning: Please check to ensure your printer is compatible with RTD Pt1000 sensors, otherwise the RTD Pt1000 will not work. For highest accuracy results, we recommend coating the RTD Pt1000 with Boron Nitride Paste.

Print at higher temperatures and improve accuracy with a Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD). The RTD Pt1000 uses a platinum resistor for the ultimate in temperature sensing performance. Our Pt1000 platinum resistance temperature detector is perfect for any Pt1000-compatible 3D printers. However, if your stock printer is already set up to use a Pt100, we recommend going that route to save you the hassle of having to mess with firmware settings. Please check to ensure your printer is compatible with RTD Pt1000 sensors, otherwise this sensor will not work. For highest accuracy results, we recommend coating the RTD Pt1000 with Boron Nitride Paste.

Using in a modded CR-10v3 with 50W heater cartridge. Works perfectly. Have printed up to 325C with this probe and no issues. PID Tune your printers when replacing any heating element!

I've been using Slice products for a few years, I upgraded my klipper based machine to print high-temp materials (pps) with a mosquito magnum+ and this thermocouple. As compared to the 300 C thermistors I have been using, I do wish the leads were a bit thicker to resist physical forces a bit better. It feels somewhat fragile.Lastly, I do wish the klipper instructions on the site were a bit more helpful. The RTD1000 instructions would benefit by having a configuration section with onboard amplifiers. Given the growth of CAN toolheads this will likely become more applicable.

This is a great product don’t get me wrong.Buy why it’s is soooo long. And, why is there no micro connector included. I had to buy atleast 30.00 worth of stuff to use this.

Easy to install and a lot better to work with in firmware since I didn't have to determine thermistor values.

Tried 2 of these and both failed 2 different way and unreliable.1st one failed within 2 weeks of use and would short circuit and not read temp.2nd failed after 2 months of use or less and must’ve given wrong temp because it completely melted my extruder during a overnight print. Now I have to rebuild my hotend conpletely. Got so hot it made my heat block fall off my microSwiss NG.

First, if you are installing this make sure that your hotend is compatible before purchasing, and second, be aware that you will have to modify your firmware for this to work. Specifically, you need to set your temperature sensor to 1047. Lastly, you will need to crimp a plug to the cable if that is what your board requires. That all said, this sensor works great in my drangonfly bms. I'm using it with my ender3v2, marlin (for now), and the stock 4.2.2 motherboard. I will be swapping to Klipper and an SKR mini e3v3 soon, so we will see how it performs with that setup later.
