Due to the large surface area of the mattress, we recommend that you allow the mat to inflate automatically for 10-15 minutes before closing the air valve to ensure that the mattress is fully inflated. The first time you use the playpen mattress, it will take a little longer to flatten out (approximately 30 minutes).

This product is good for traveling considering of how compact it is! Other than that, the quality is just okay. not too good and not too bad.

This mat is so hard/stiff and uncomfortable. It says it self inflates, but I'm not noticing any difference even when I attempt to blow it up myself. This is waterproof, but I wouldn't use it by itself for anything. This may be good for an underlayment when camping if you plan on putting a soft mat over the top of it, but it's really not useful at all otherwise.
