I luv the tub but wish it was a little bigger. The fire starters worked great but were just icing on the cake as I mostly wanted the tub to organize my kindling.

Great product. I have two of the larger tubs that I use for kindling and I purchased this smaller one for all of my accessories (lighter, handles, etc...). Putting my items in this tub is a lot more attractive then placing them up on the mantle. Well constructed and will last a long time. The item was exactly as advertised.

I live in the snowy Southwest in a Southwestern style home with kiva fireplaces in the living room and each bedroom -- this tub sits on the raised hearth of each bedroom kiva for EZ accessibility; the Fatwood has plenty of resin so starting a fire with a couple of logs, a little paper and 2 Fatwood sticks is simple. I love the copper tub -- very rustic, functional, and beautiful.

When I recieved the package, it weighed next to nothing. I soon discovered why. Flimsy thin material, Not real copper, copper paint finsh that looks cheap.

Have been using these near my fireplace for 2 seasons now and they have held up great. The large one is study enough to handle heavy logs being tossed in, no visible damage so far to the metal or the finish. I prefer this style of log holder over the wrought-iron ones, logs always create alot of "wood crumbs" and this one keeps them off my carpet & floor.
