Very thick metal. Difficult to bend. Fits over the pipe snugly. I had to buy another box flange (the one against the wall) at the store because I needed more coverage, so I double stacked. I'm very happy with how this turned out.

Good quality box flange for a good price. This flange is attractive and nicely conceals the old iron pipe drain protruding from the wall as well as the cheap-looking plastic wall tube nut and the crumbling and missing wall plaster surrounding the pipe drain.
