Its rubbish sleeve cannot go over orings without moving orings aroung and orings do not shrink . If you have a carbon fiber pole spear it melts the spear before it melts the grips. Sooo sad . Do not buy . I got a pair it does not work . Lose money this product .

Put this on myself the other day and it's perfect. This is a professional grade heat shrink that is perfect for pole spears and other underwater gear you need a grip on. Any review with less than a 5 star did not apply heat correctly. I used a thick elastic band and some super glue to get the form right, slipped the sheath over the pole leaving room so the heat shrink would sit a few MM over the form, and then used the stove to slowly and evenly heat all sides of the grip until perfectly snug. Make sure there are no gaps at either end and this thing will be perfect.

My main Polespear is a Gatku I added this to a cheap marine sport Polespear that I let buddy’s use. This kit was easy to install and give the cheap spear a high quality feel and makes it easy to hold the pole loaded

Good idea but heat shrink was to tight for my fiberglass spear shank with the supplied O-rings. Good thing I had bigger diameter heat shrink at work.

This order was missing the 7 rings that are displayed in the listing and the shrink wrap is completely different to thin and small will not fit on a pole spear. This was a completely different item than what I ordered. So frustrating!

Initially this grip looked great, sort of a pain to get the rubber O rings to stay properly spaced and used a professional Heat Gun to properly apply but after our fourth dive the grip went from the original location (3/4 way up the pole) down to the bottom. Ended up cutting it off and using electrical tape and paracord, cheaper and lasted the remainder of the dive trip. Save your money.
