We took a chance on these poles and you can’t get any better than this! Great product and they might be a bit pricey but like my husband says you get what you pay for and these are worth it!!

This is listed as a pontoon boat cover support but really it'll work for any boat that has a saggy cover. This comes with straps and a weight that can be used to help stabilize it as you install a cover. This creates a high spot to force rain water to drain off the sides instead of puddle. This has a fairly good size base that helps it stay stable and the top part is wide enough that it doesn't put pressure on one spot of the cover. You don't have to use the straps but I would recommend these as it adds support for the cover but creating a soft "frame". This will be a big help this winter. I had been using a wood structure I had made but this is much simpler and actually works better. I could make something out of PVC as well but this product is better since it extends/retracts taking up less space when you're not using it. Easy to store with a rolled up cover.

Very nice boat cover support pole to help prevent pooling of water on the cover in the winter. It comes with a bag you can fill with water or sand to act as a weight for the base to help keep it standing and in place. The pole top also has 3 straps that can be used to secure it vertically. It's working great so far with my small cover on a dinghy sailboat. No complaints.

This is a great support system. I have a 24" boat that I cover with a tarp and needed this desperately. I tried using various thing like 2X4s to prop the tarp up, but eventually they would fall over and I'd literally have a small swimming pool in the tarp in my boat. Sturdy base and high density straps. Great product, stable, and I recommend this highly. This will save me a TON of work siphoning water out of my tarp.

I really needed this Boat Support System. We are remodeling the boathouse so our boat is sitting outside and it has been raining off and on. So the boat cover has been dividing itself up into several different puddles. I wanted to put something like this in the middle so that all the rain and puddles would drain off the side and back.I put it under the boat cover this morning and it has been raining all day and I just went out and looked and it is working almost perfectly. There is a small puddle in the back and a small one in the front and it seems to be because the lines radiating out from this boat cover are not wide enough, mainly because the dome at the top is so minuscule.Using the straps on a 12" boat seems to be silly but maybe I need to look at that but it seems more reasonable to have a dome on top that is 4" to 6" wider. It is as if you want to turn it end for end and use the wide pedestal bottom for the top.But if they can put a big bottom on it then surely that can put the same on the top. I give it FOUR STARS for that reason.
