This is so so cute! My daughter loved it! Very nicely packed. I just needed to unpack and left out for a night and everything was good to go. The mattress was medium firm for my daughter. Fits very well for her, a blanket, and couple of plushies. The foldable design is very convenient to store in a corner.

This is giving dog bed vibes (LOL), but frankly a good (clean, not owned by the dog) dog bed would do fine for similar purposes, but it just wouldn't store as conveniently. There are plenty of times when there's not quite enough room for everybody, such as now, around the holidays, and there's no sense in having a half-sized person taking up a full person worth of bed space. Even if there *is* plenty of room, parents may prefer to have their smaller kid in the same bedroom when in unfamiliar places - or, for that matter, the child might prefer that as well. Maybe you want to add a bed so all the cousins can sleep in the same room instead. This is essentially a flexible addition to maximize sleeping space when necessary.Basically this takes up very little space when not in use, and folds out to give enough room for an average-sized elementary school aged kid (okay maybe a smaller one if they're 4th or 5th grade). There's plenty of room in the middle when it's folded to put a pillow and blankets and such so that everything you need is all stored together. The bottom ("mattress") part isn't super thick, but you can add padding, which you could probably also store inside along with the bedding as long as it's not super massive - and in my experience kids will straight up sleep on a hardwood floor with just a sleeping bag and be perfectly happy with that, so it's fine as-is.For the intended use, I think it's plenty, and it's cuter than many other options.

I ordered this portable bed so that when my 2 year old grandchild stays over he has a nice bed to sleep in. It is a good size and well made. It comes vacuumed sealed in a small box. Once opened it took about 2 days to fully "grow" into its size. It has a zipper so you can remove the cover for washing. It also folds nicely and you can store a small blanket or sheet in the middle when you store it. Highly recommend.

We purchased this portable toddler bed for when my 2 daughter sleepover at their aunt's house and we are very pleased with it. We were a bit worried when the box arrived because it was a very small and compressed package , but it expanded perfectly after a day or 2. It is lightweight and it folds up for easy transporting. The bed is comfortable for my daughter and I especially like that it has a zipper for easy washing since my daughter does like to sit and eat her snack on it. This is perfect for camping too!
