Choosing A Manual Puller
The center bolt diameter must be at least one-half (1/2) as large as the diameter of the shaft from which the object will be removed.

The Posi Lock line of manual gear and bearing pullers set the standard for quickness, ease and convenience. The patented steel Safety Cage locks the puller jaws securely in place at all times and prevents the jaws from snapping back or slipping off the work surface.The T-handle opens and closes the jaws for a one-person setup and operation. Each size puller is available in 2-jaw and 3-jaw models.

With Posi Lock pullers, you will never have to worry about the tool 'snapping back' at you. The jaws are fully adjustable and controlled by the T-Handle, and lock on with vise-like power. The patented Safety Cage ensures that the tool stays locked on to the workpiece.

Posi Lock transmission bearing pullers come in several sizes. They lock onto the narrow groove in the outer bearing race and allow easy removal of the bearing.

I work in commercial HVAC. Sometimes I have to work on very large gears and pulleys. When you were working with large diameter equipment, sometimes the pillars just will not stay on. The Posi lock puller not only stayed on, but was designed to the point of where it did not slip at all. Puller is very much worth the money.

I purchased this and finally used it at work today to separate a taper lock on a old car wash dryer motor. I hit this with my 1/2 impact for about 1 hour, applied heat with a torch to the taper lock, used a separator. Basically I used this puller hard today and I absolutely had no issues with it. I added a little anti-seize to the threads before using.. this held up without any issues. Great tool to have. I can’t wait to use it on another big job

I have one of these and a smaller one, they are 20+ years old and still work perfect. I bought my son a van to work out of and wanted him to have the best to! Solid units, I wouldn't buy anything else.

As a shop owner and technician for 10+ years this puller is like no other puller I have used before and I don't know why I didn't buy this puller sooner. The build quality is superb, the operation of the tool is very easy, and the best part is the grip the outer skeleton provides on the pulling surface (wont let the jaws slip). The lollipop bushings on a 2003 BMW 325xi are not easy to get off of the control arm and I would usually struggle with my 3 arm puller, but this tool made that job a breeze. The puller worked so good I ended up buying 2 other sizes as well. Highly recommend this puller

These do exactly what I need them to do. With an authoritative grip you don't need to worry about marring pieces or having things suddenly blow apart under force.

Had a wheel bearing seized onto my CV axle. Tried auto store rental puller, 4lb sledge... nothing worked. This took about 30 seconds and was much safer. Huge fan of the product - very easy to use. Just be sure to grease it as the instructions say.

Awesome puller, quality product... The thing is huge. Paired mine with a deep socket and the milwaukee high torque impact. Pulls pulleys like butter, truly effortless. Made the mistake of showing this to some co workers, now i keep getting calls to borrow my posilock. Worth every penny.

For YEARS I have searched for a decent puller that doesn't slip off. The Posi Lock puller with the external cage is GREATNESS. The external cage follows the contour of the puller pawls smoothly regardless of the diameter being worked. Excellent working reach. Puts the, ahgem, `convenience` pullers to shame.I my drive shaft exercise, worked perfect to separate a pressed-on carrier bearing from an intermediate shaft.
