I can’t speak to how well it works to potty train since this was a gift to my grandson who was potty trained and then decided for some reason he wanted to wear diapers again, lol. But I can say that I was impressed at how well the target shows up in the basin. It looks like it’s painted in. Very clear. The light is adjustable so you can position the target area, and it has an on off switch for when you’re done using it. The light doesn’t interfere with other people using the toilet. You’ll only know it’s there if you lean back against the lid.

My seven year old likes it. It gives him something to focus on and helps to keep a cleaner toilet area!Update: My kid has already scratched the film for the projector and I’m looking to replace it. Hopefully it will not be hard to find.
