The product works but arrived dirty like someone spilled food on it and left it to dry. For the price it should have been cleaned first before reselling a used power supply.

It arrived quickly and in great condition. Worked flawlessly as one would expect from an OEM product. The only issue I had was the price. I've bought used xBox360s used for 40 bucks with the power supply. Not sure why this 1st gen PSU was so expensive. But you have to have the proprietary connection or you can't use the unit. The only other issue I have is the short IEC cable that came with it. Because the cable on the block is not long enough to reach the floor from the table where the console sits. you have to put it on the table as well which means, then, you have to have a longer cable from the block to the wall. I am a PC enthusiast so I have several, but for the amount you have to pay, it just diminishes the value even more.

I understand that people often got either the wrong power cable, faulty power supply or ordered a "new" power brick and got a used one. When I first ordered this, I wasn't completely sure of myself if I bought the correct power supply but upon further research, I knew I bought the right one and it was this one. It connects to my Xbox 360, turns on and plays games. Very pleased with my purchase. Unfortunately, my xbox has had the red ring of death. When I researched about it, it was only a overheating issue so nothing to worry. Don't blame the brick for your faulty xbox, just look it up and maybe you can fix it.

I tried using this for my Xbox 360 and within the first 15 minutes the Xbox just powered down. I tried turning it back on and it had 3 red blinking lights which means there is either a problem with the power supply or the power supply connections. I checked all of the connections and there was nothing wrong with them, but when I went to check the power block it was scolding hot!! A LOT hotter than the original power supply that came with the system from microsoft used to get and I'm sure most of you know they can get pretty hot. As if my experience with using this product couldn't get any worse now the whole room wreaks of burnt plastic!!

This xBox power supply was purchased for use with a used xBox. I did not even realize that there were various types of xBox power supplies until I tried to borrow one to test the used console and found that it did not fit. It was helpful to see the graphic of the power supply buying guide, to assure that I ordered the right one.And I did get the right one. It arrived promptly and has worked reliably, no complaints. The star-rating system is inviting me to tell you "how much fun is this game" and "how do you rate this game overall?" Hard to think of a power supply as fun, but overall the product rating is 5 stars because it works and it was reasonably priced, so good value for cost. And while this is a product rating, I would note that my seller (Finest Play) sent a follow up email after a month, to check on my satisfaction with the order.

It works. Don't spend $40, $50 or how ever much Gamestop wants to charge you. If you know the type of Xbox power brick you need, buy it for less on Amazon or thru the web. I got this power supply for a free Xbox 360 my friend gave me(he bought another one and told me that I could have this one which was only missing a power supply). I didn't want to pay $40 at Gamestop and didn't want to order it thru Microsoft. I realized I need the 203W version and saw this product on Amazon. It arrived early and the Xbox works perfectly. What else do you need. I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase.
