Cutter 48inch (120CM) large format tiles

Cutter 48inch (120CM) large format tiles, operation steps :

tool

Work out the dimensions for cutting large format tiles as needed. If we need to use 39' (100cm) tiles (larger than the length of our tool), how should we proceed?

tile cutter installation direction

The installation direction must be correct. If the tile cutter and the tile cannot fit tightly, please check whether the installation direction of the nylon knife wheel is wrong, and the outside is high and the inside is low.

running pilers top

Use the correct orientation of the running pliers, TOP up, easy to operate the black handle.

breaking pliers distance

It is necessary to keep a little distance between the breaking pliers and the tiles, otherwise there will be cracks when they touch the tiles.

Perfect tile cutter

After cutting, most of them are very neat and can be used directly. Due to the strength or the use of pliers, there will be a small part of unevenness, which requires some simple processing with tools.

48inch tile cutter

Manual large tile cutter 48 inch

If you need a tile that is wider than 24 inches (60 cm), you can split the remaining tiles to achieve the desired width. This will help you get the tile size you want without having to purchase larger, more expensive tile cutter.

long tile cutter

Manual large tile cutter more than 48 inch

A flat ceramic tile (or any other suitable object) is all that is needed to serve as an aid for fixing the nylon roller system to one side, while positioning the cutting wheel to make the score and cut lines. It is important that the aid remains relatively stable in relation to the tile being cut, and does not move during the scoring process.

TIPS: When cutting ceramic tiles, it's recommended to place them lower to apply more force and achieve deeper scored lines. This will result in better cutting performance and a more precise cut.

I have to push so hard You sometimes break the tile in order to get a good score line on large tile and the little tool doesn’t split the tile correctly. They suggest you have two tools or split from both ends it was breaking them in an arc.

Didn't work. Perhaps we got a lemon, because I think these generally work well, but the one we got would not cut the tile without chipping it.

It doesn't work well. Broke many pieces even though I cut and pushed down very hard while traveling through(end-to-end) the tiles.

A bit challenging to keep the rollers guiding along the edge of the tile while maintaining the scoring of the tile. Especially, when you’re at the top or bottom edge of the tile and half the rollers go off the tile. I guess if you spend enough time working with it and it’s your only option you could make it work. it was interesting too try it out, but I’m not staying with it.

This tile cutter is a lifesaver for the project we were working on! We had 36" long tiles that needed to be cut into 4" widths. This did the job every time, with zero cracking or breaking of the tile, and the directions are easy to understand when initially setting it up. It comes with multiple blades and cutting handles. So far, we've cut about 20 ceramic tiles and the first blade is still sharp. If you're on the fence with this, just buy it!

It cut perfectly all the tile 24x48, not one messed up cut. I was able to finish an entire shower in just couple of hours. Amazing tool 💪

The packaging of the set is very good and strong! This 60cm is enough for me to deal with the tile problem in the bathroom. I tried their newly upgraded pliers and it works much better than the old one! It doesn't take much effort to twist cool.
