first, I buy hundreds of items from Amazon, and I have never written a bad review before. I have a degree in engineering and am "tech savvy". The original button is much thinner and more flexible. This product is thicker and so hard and brittle, that I broke three and finally got the fourth one on. Fits poorly as it is too thick and hard. Sadly once on, it is very hard to get the doorbell to ring (because it is too hard).Bottom line, this product is made of a hard brittle plastic and you need to purchase another brand.I need to take it off and start all over.Dr. Dave
