I bought 2 of the polished brass ones. They are solid cast brass with a high quality solid brass switch. No regrets and superb, better than I expected quality.They are a little shiny for my taste andI wish I bought the highlighted bronze ones. I took them apart and aged them with salt and peroxide. Turned out perfect.

This Doorbell push bottom is a real deal. Solid brass made with a vintage nice looking.we painted black to enhance and match with the rest of the door, but could be painted easily in any color.recommended item.

Aesthetics are great. Functionality needs help. Button wasn't making contact correctly when pushed. I had to disassemble unit and sand paint off of the internal contact to allow metal to metal contact so that bell would ring first push. It now works well.

This is your typical door bell button that is a pretty simple device invented shortly after the wheel. The quality seems nice and it comes with a couple of matching screws. It will require a slight hole or recess behind the switch for the terminals to recess into. This has no smarts or cameras ... you can not see anyone steal your crap. You can talk to it but it does not listen. There is no software firmware or batteries. It has one function... you follow the instruction embossed on the switch "PRESS", and assuming you have connected a doorbell to it, it will ring, and in my case the dogs will bark. It seems very nice and I expect 20 years of service out of this fine device.

This doorbell is really great looking and solid. It works great too. I stage homes and design for clients, and I always say first impressions are so important. Our old 1980’s brass ring doorbell left sooo much to be desired, ugh. This lil gem says ‘I’m good looking and tasteful.’ 😊Wish it had some more hardware to support the install, but not a deal breaker. Love it!

This is no flimsy piece of metal. Heavy duty and very nicely made. Looks vintage which is exactly what I wanted.
