I bought 3 quart pressure cooker last year. We probably used it a few times. It was very hard to close and open. Today, the handle broke when I tried to open. My wife wanted a small Prestige brand pressure cooker thinking it is a good brand. We had a large size Sears pressure cooker for years and never had any issues.

It's stainless steel, well made. I have been using Prestige cooker for several years. Unlike other Prestige cooker, this cooker lid is little flat not dome shape. So, can't use higher vessel. You should use little lesser size vessel. Otherwise you can't close the lid.

The 3L pressure cooker works well. Because of the recessed lid, there are no spills on my ceramic stove top, as happened with my previous pressure cooker.It fits perfectly atop the 6 inches diameter burner.

Even I bought used but in good condition pressure cooker it was just like NEWOnly the thing was its original packaging was missing other than that pressure cooker is working well with meat curries,dals and all type of Indian food.Happy buyer!!!🙂

The item that I got had a gasket seemed poorly made. The interlocking system was damaged and could not be locked easily and without 4-5 attempts. And once locked, it could not be opened without extreme force. So requested a refund and the seller accepted the return and fully refunded.
