Electric griddle is great for mini thin- crust pizzas (Tortilla crust) and grilled cheese sandwiches.This is my 2nd electric skillet. My partner dropped my 1st one and I had to order another one right away. Sometimes I take the skillet off of the base, put it on a cookie sheet and bake Quiche in the oven. Then I put the skillet on the base, plug it in and hold the food warm. I also do this at Thanksgiving so I can bake my sweet potato casserole, set it on the base to keep warm, and then I'm able to use the oven for other dishes.

The griddle is great and easy to clean the handled one is harder to clean wish base was seperate from pan but you can wash it.
