Product Description

These bi-fold door hinges are constructed of steel and come in a nickel plated finish. They feature a non-mortise design allowing them to be easily mounted on the door’s edges, avoiding the need to chisel and mortise for installation. For best results, use a 3/32 inch bit to drill pilot holes prior to screwing in fasteners to avoid splitting wood. These door hinges are used on bi-fold doors by a variety of wardrobe manufacturers.

From the Manufacturer

This bi-fold door hinge is constructed from steel and comes plated in nickel. It has a cutout to allow for non-mortise installations. This hinge is used by many wardrobe door manufacturers.

The hinges are fine but I ordered 10 (five 2/packs) but only received 9. One 2 pack had been opened and one hinge had been removed.

These hinges are smaller and lighter duty than the ones I was replacing forcing me to make new holes.

There were only 4 screws in one of the packets instead of 8

Installed these on a solid wood bifold to replace the stock hinges. After a couple of weeks they started to bend and make noise. Compared to the hinges that came with the bifold door these appear to be cheaper quality.

Well worth the very reasonable price. I've been fighting with a bifold door for about five years now and it occurred to me that maybe the problem was with the old hinges. You may not notice it but even a small deformation in an old hinge can throw the whole business out of whack. I fiddled endlessly with the pivots and rollers, and they did need adjustment, but the hinges where the heart of the problem. My advice: Next time you adjust a bifold door, just replace the hinges whether you think you need to or not.

The quality of the hinges was very good and were a direct for replacement for old Brass hinges on my Bifold doors. They look great.

We had some very old bifold closet doors that had ugly handles and gloppy white paint that included painting over the hinges. We didn’t want to spend more money on replacing the closet doors so we decided to refresh the closets by adding new hardware, adding some trim and painting them a graphite color. It’s given a new lease on life for these closet doors. There’s nothing like fresh hinges and hardware to make something look new again. The job was made easier by the holes lining up with the original holes.

used this to reinforce the plywood under my RV mattress. (Our storage only goes under 1/2 of the mattress length but we installed 28 lb. gas props, which won't hold up the plywood to access the compartment but makes it a whole lot easier to open.) But we were concerned about the stress the gas props would put on the existing 2 hinges so we added a couple of these for piece of mind and security. They lay flat and are easy to install and are very similar to the ones already installed.
