I’ve been using this on/off for several years on my son’s faceoff lacrosse sticks. He prefers this for his right hand below the head vs grip tape. Pretty easy to install if you have a heat gun or hairdryer. Definitely needs to be replaced every few months if your kid plays a lot, it will tear and wear out.

I put these grips on all of my son’s lacrosse sticks. Very clean and quick installation, does not fray like standard grip tape.

Bought three of these for my kids lacrosse sticks. Holding up well after several weeks with no signs of detriment coming up. One pro tip if using hair dryer: Buy a piece of roofing tin and shape a cylinder to place the stick in ( and slide the stick through) and circulate the heat in much like you are forging. This will maximize the heat from the hair dryer otherwise it will be an extreme time suck with heat escaping. Using the cylinder will cut time down to about 5-8 minutes for completion.

We have tried tape, Lizard Skin, and now this. We like this the best - it is the most difficult to apply, I already had a heat gun so it wasn't that tough, but tougher than just wrapping tape around a pole. That being said, the grip isn't too tacky or too smooth and it seems to be the toughest. We installed it about 2 weeks ago, but it still looks brand new with daily use. The other two wear down and get tiny tears in them almost immediately. I guess my point is - I recommend this. It works well.

These things are simple to put on, stay put, and if you wrap it over your end cap it isn't going anywhere either. My daughter was always knocking her end caps off her stick, and now they stay put. GREAT PRODUCT.

My son loves this new grip for his lax stick! It securely adhered to the shaft to provide a solid grip. Hopefully it holds up for the season but we may be buying more!
