I use these about every week to make my italian chicked. I use two of them in 1/2 a bowl of Italian dressing, stabbing each side of a huge chicken breast about 40x per side. Perfectly infuses the dressing and tenderizes the breast to being able to eat with just a fork. Albeit the fam still drenches the chicked in bbq sauce, the italian really is awesome with these as your weapon. They are hard on the hands after doing 6 large chicken breasts though, wish were a tad longer and had a better handle.

This "thing" has 28 needle sharp stainless steel "nails" welded to a robust steel handle. Talk about sturdy!Not only does it make tenderizing tough meat easy but is probably a good defense against a pack of velociraptors! I mean this thing is tough.I highly recommend this for tenderizing meat (and defending oneself against monsters if the need arises)

For BBQ pork belly, just push and add pressure on it. Then it will go through the skin. It’s hard to clean.

I love this tenderizer. it is very heavy, seems well made and works great. The only issue I have is the weld that joins the handle and the spike plate began to rust after I put it in the dishwasher which is the only way I trust to get it really clean after use. Stainless shouldn't rust.

I purchased this specifically for preparing Crispy Pork Belly. It is sharp and well built, fairly easy to clean by hand although it would probably go through the dishwasher with ease. Hace since used it on Pork Butt when marinating. I use a thich poly cutting board as this will destroy a wood cutting board!

This tenderizer is great for chicken. It works well and is well constructed. There are no cracks and crevices for meat or juices to be trapped like in some of the other styles.. It still takes time to clean properly but much, much easier than other styles. I use a large bottle brush and is seems to do the job well. Highly recommend it over others, especially for chicken. .Sanitation of any tool used with meat is my top priority. This one satisfies that.
