  • ATTENTION TO DETAIL: This boonie is manufactured to MIL-H-44105B, the authentic US DOD specification for sun hats.
  • BREATHABLE: Metal vent holes on each side keep air flow coming
  • KEEP YOUR HAT ON: Hat comes with a nylon strap with leather keeper for adjustments to keep the hat tightly on your head.
  • CAMO KEEPER: 100% nylon webbing sewn around the crown is used for adding natural camoflauge from sticks and leaves


The Propper IHWCU (Improved Hot Weather Combat Uniform) Boonie in OCP is a lighter-weight, more breathable alternative to the standard issue boonie hat and is engineered to block sunlight and keep your head cool on hot days. Ventilation holes on the nylon/cotton ripstop crown keep the boonie hat breathable while the adjustable chin cord allows for custom fit and wearing around the neck when you want to take it off.
