The case appeared to be well built although I did not take it out of the box. When I opened the box and measured the case it was not a shallow case of 14.25 inches as described in the print. It was 16.5 deep without the lids. If you are looking for a shallow case, this is not the one you want to order. Again it appears to be a well built case. I will be returning as it is to large for my needs.

I decided to go with the PROX cases and rack drawer because of their quality. Knew of them and bought the 10U unit to store my digital mixer. Was impressed with the shipping packaging and even more impressed with the rack. That was the reason for purchasing the 6U rack for my wireless gear. So happy with my 10U rack I bought the 6U and rack mountable drawer from PROX. Very happy with all my PROX gear and will be picking up another 10U rack very soon. These are high quality racks and well made. Understand that they are top quality and designed to protect your valuable gear so they are heavy. My wireless rack is very heavy but the drawer alone is so well made that it’s worth the weight. These will protect you gear and last a long time. Look at the weight of rack, drawer and gear and purchase size accordingly. You will be happy with PROX products!

Product description says the country of origin is USA, that was a determination factor for me making this purchase. Unfortunately I need a rack now or I would return it. I don't appreciate being lied to. Definitely not 3/8" plywood as advertised, maybe 3/16", Definitely less than 1/4". Feels flimsy,

I currently own four other ProX cases; two 14” deep and two mixer cases. One of them is the 14” deep 6Ru case that I use for my audiovideostreaming equipment. I ordered a second to manage my wireless microphones. The unit is built to the same standard as all the others. Its solid, clean and I’ve never had any issues, therefore I’d recommend ProX gear in a heartbeat. So why the “quality control issue” in the heading? Well, to my surprise this case is 1 ¼” longer than the other one (see pictured). I stack my cases so size matters. In this instance I can live with the size difference because the case is still solidly built, can stack as needed and most importantly I already painted on my company logo. Quality control missed this one but I’d recommend ProX.
