Great design. SOLID! It's heavy, it's metal, it's handsome & functional (& understated. The only logo is the monochrome PRS bird on the base). Spending $200 on a guitar stand was a bit daunting but this is worth every penny. It's perfect.

Emphasis on “the home” because it is far to heavy and bulky to tote to gigs. Which it needs to be; this configuration needs a heavy base for stability. It is secure and easy to use, and looks great.

I purchased this product new from GearNuts, but recieved a used product. They did pay to have it shipped back to them and gave me a full refund after they confirmed its condition.The seller may have received a "returned as new item" from someone else and it just so happen to make its way to me.Although I didn't have the product for very long. The products sturdiness. The foam on the arm of the stand is thin but condensed and somewhat firm, so it's nicer that I expected. The base is weighted and feels roughly around 10lbs and has a cast iron kind of texture.There is a video on Youtube I recommend finding that has a dude stress testing it in his backyard which revealed that it can take pretty rough pushes from the side, but if anything were to push the guitar from the back (like a pet could), it could topple easily from the direction. The weighted base however could still recover from tipping over in some case.Otherwise, if you're careful with your guitar and don't have hyper pets - you shouldn't run into any issues.
