garbage galorethe spring is adjustable and thats all you have a spring the piston works may be for 12 pounds or less and consider it non existing

So this item never showed up so I have no clue if it was any good. It says that it was damaged during shipping and was being returned to the sender as undeliverable, which tells me one thing it’s not gonna be a good shock value is not gonna be good. The stiffness is not gonna be good. The fit is not gonna be good. It’s gonna be made of cheap aluminum And break very easy. The quality is gonna be just no good. They look good on paper but in person, I doubt it if they break that easy just in shipping just imagine coming down on it from a 20 foot jump. Not a good ending, probably would never recommend this to anyone not even an enemy.

I looked at another review about this shock and I laughed at how it was tested. First of all dropping your atv is no way to test the recoil of this shock. Secondly it is adjustable but not on the air function. Third if you don't like the way the shock feels you can tighten the coil or loosen it. Four the 1000 lb rating means the force it takes to move the shock and if you want a softer setting you can loosen the coil to make it softer. For a $40 shock it's a very decent quality. I think people have too high of expectations for what they spend on these things. For the price point it's a great value!
