It feels very strong and easy installation. But if your Rebel is 2023 you will need to replace the original 3/8 in x 12 in theaded rod for a 13 in.

Note the weld burn through bump on the inside upper clamp, also note the bolt alignment.... How long does it take to spin in a couple of bolts and make sure they are aligned? I will be able to get this on, as I was a weldor in a previous life, but the QA here is poor.

Very strong bars. Solid mount. Now if someone knocks my bike over the engine will survive.

My wife is a brand new rider and I wanted these just in case! They fit perfectly on her 2021 Rebel 500. Go to utube and search 2017 thru 2021 Honda Rebel 500 Puig Engine Guard to see a review.

Offers amazing protection. Sticks out more than others but that's more protection haha. Easy to install on rebel 500.

The description of this item says it works on a 300 model Rebel."Puig Engine Guards Honda Rebel 300/500 17'-20' C/Black"The Rebel 300 has a long bolt going through an engine mount. When that bolt is removed to put the guards on the engine is unsupported. This should have included a longer bolt to make up for the added length needed by the guards instead of just two bolts, one for each guard, that do not go through the engine support.

This is very easy to install except removing the OEM bolt from the frame of the bike is very difficult. I ended up using the double wrench technique to get it off. I needed a 14mm socket and regular wrench, 6 mm and 8 mm hex socket wrench. You probably want to get a socket wrench extender to for the 6 mm hex socket on the top
