purchased trying to find a fuel problem on outboard. It is OEM and connects to engine much better than other ones. Very happy with this part even though it turned out not fixing entire fuel issue although I feel it did fix one part of it. Turns out a quick disconnect at fuel tank was allowing air into line (youtube video suggested using a clear fuel line to see if there was air in line). Replaced quick disconnect with solid fitting and problem solved.

Quality. Don't get the cheap ones. They won't last, if they even work.

The old fuel line on my pontoon boat was constantly kinking and seemed to be starving the engine of fuel. I bought this as a substitute for the discontinued OEM part and it works perfectly. The quick connect fit perfectly into my Mercury outboard (2009 Mercury 50HP 2 stroke), and the threaded end of the line screwed right into the gas tank attachment. No more kinks in the hose, no more starving for gas. It was a bit more expensive than other fuel lines on Amazon, but for the OEM replacement part it seems durable and should last me another 15 years.

Great OEM product but it did not fit our remote take. Not sure why Mercury would have different quick connectors but this one did not fit our 1999 tank. Since it is OEM it is a perfect replacement IF it fits your tank.

Got this product on time and packaged well and good quality. However, the ends are not as pictured. There are quick connect fittings on BOTH ends instead of 1 end having the threaded fitting. However, that is OK with me as I have other threaded ends saved from older versions of this fuel line. Always like to have an extra quick connect clip. Happy Camper.Update: Be advised, after I took a close look at the quick connector on the gas tank end, I saw that the brass center valve is recessed about 1/2 inch and not flush with the face of the connector. The connector on the engine end has its brass valve flush with the face of the connector. I think this is intentional for the tank side connector as I saw that on the 12 foot version of this fuel line that comes with 2 quick connectors. Still OK for me - labelled the tank connector as such in my spare parts box.
