Does exactly what it says it does. Keep in mind you don't have to put a ton of stress on these, I'm sure it would be easy to break if you used an impact or something. You really don't need to put a ton of pressure on these to spread the knuckles.

I haven’t done a strut replacement yetbut I did check and confirmed this fits the Nissan Rogue. The tool feels solid and well made and will definitely be a better option than using a chisel and hammer or a pry bar to try to open the steering knuckle to remove the struts. This definitely also going to be a better tool for BMW struts than the small socket-like wedge tool I have.I do have a strut replacement Job coming up and will report back based on my experience if there is anything else to add to this review.Definitely a good addition to the tool box for anyone who does this type is suspension work and well worth the price in the amount of grief eliminated.

Tool looks to built well and the working threads are cut clean. The overall size is small enough to save on tool box room and easy to get in and around other surrounding suspension parts. Tool paint looks good, I got the red color for ease of visibility. Works well and saved me from damaging other parts. I feel it’s a good value for the money.

I use this al the time to spread open ball joint knuckles on ford vehicles. It is sturdy and can take a beating when I hammer it in place.
