Immediately after taking the fan out of the box, I could tell it weighed less than the OEM fan. I also noticed that the OEM seemed "beefier" in some areas. As soon as the fan was put into place, one of the small clips that held the transmission line broke right off. Nonetheless, I still installed the fan and got it hooked up. The fan does seem to move a good bit of air and I will test it out when I drive the vehicle tomorrow.

Ordered this to replace the original fan in the car. Really easy to do. Runs as it should. May be better than the original.

After using this fan for a few months, it started running hot. Upon further investigation, the fan blades were just sitting still while the assembly spun. The plastic had completely broken and the blades were not spinning. This caused my thermostat to overload and need replacement and my ac not to work.

Arrived on time and matched the description. Removing the old fan assembly was a real pain in the butt but once removed the new assembly was easier to install. The unit works as it should so no complaints so far.. if you need to replace the fan assembly in your Chevy Sonic this one works just understand that removing the old one is a pain but there is a good video on you tube that will help walk you through it.
