Barely 15ft spray pattern..don't think it's my water pressure either because I swapped these for hunter MP 2000 and 3000 and those Spray patterns were as advertised..other than that the adjustment was super easy

I am switching all my sprinklers to the R-VAN rotary after trying other nozzles. Availability and Performance capped it for me.

These are definitely my favorite rotary sprinkler heads. The different colored heads have different ranges, but the red ones are the best for most applications since it can hit both short and long range. Rainbird knocked it out of the park with this design. It's the most intuitive I've ever seen.

I had a few areas that the traditional spray heads weren't covering due to situations such as a slight slope in my lawn. I have now selectively swapped out a few of these heads since I just had my yard resodded and the problem appears to be solved (new St. Augustine sod in 95 degree temps will let you know if it isn't getting water!)I am not sure why they make different variations of this head- honestly the red adjustable arc covers is the Best Buy for most folks because it can cover almost any situation. You can adjust the arc and also the throw distance can be adjusted to just a few feet all the way out to the max.

I will be replacing most of my sprinkler head with rotary nozzles. Save on the water bill and they look cool.

A neighbor installed these on his lawn and I was asking about them and now I have them in several locations at my house. It was a bit of a learning curve at first to install and set them up but once I figured it out, it was fairly easy and they fit most (but not all) of my existing sprinklers. I don't know why they only sell these as conversions and not as whole sprinkler heads. But I'll post up an install video on my WJ Handy Dad youtube
