Didn’t scare birds away!

These are very pretty. I got them in two different shapes. It was a little bit of a pain to unfold them since they arrived flat. But I was able to get it done in about 5 minutes. I got them to scare the birds away from eating my blackberries, but they didn't seem to work. I am in middle TN for reference.

They don't keep birds away at all. I've got twenty of them and the birds are unphased.They also a cheap and cannot handle anything more than a breeze without tangling the segments and then breaking.
