This set comes with both frames and matching hoops in case you need them. Attaching the hoops to the frames is just a matter of threading the elastic cord through the three locations on the back and slipping in the frame. Then you can hang it from one of the elastic cords on a hook to display it.It’s simple and looks lovely.

This was easy to put together and feels like it is sturdy enough to hold up my work. The wood grain is very pretty but I can see scratches on them all. If you zoom on this, there is a chip on the edge. That is my only complaint. Price is great, idea is wonderful. I would buy again.

Framing stitched pieces can get quite pricey especially with non-rectangular items. If your round pattern fits with a little gap inside a 6" or 8" hoop, this is an easy way to frame. Just center the piece within the embroidery hoop and then slip the hoop inside the white clips on the back of the frame. You will need to string the elastic and tie off so that the hoop doesn't slip. Then hang for a beautiful yet inexpensively framed piece of stitched art. I hope that this item will become available for larger embroidery hoop sizes as well.

The 8" hoops and 8" frames fit together nicely, the hoop snaps into place between the brackets (stays by itself) and the elastic gives peace of mind it won't slip around. I'd prefer the frames to have some hanging hardware but that's minor, the screw of the hoop will slip onto a nail just fine. The 6" frames have the brackets too far apart (a design flaw) so it's very difficult to center the 6" hoop as it slips around to not have any of it showing (the elastic will sag over time making this a less than long-term solution). I will personally be using 7" hoops which sit inside the brackets perfectly and string to keep tension. I bought this for the 8" frames and have tons of hoops so I'm not too bothered but you might be inconvenienced.

I was really hopeful about this since the frame itself is so pretty. Unfortunately, I don't have much positive feedback. It didn't come with instructions (I had to circle back to Amazon); the elastic doesn't secure the frame to the hoop tightly enough; and there is no way to avoid having part of the hoop show. I thought about gluing the hoop to the frame, since it's hard to secure with the elastic alone, but there is no way to position the hoop so that it doesn't show within the frame. I didn't try it out immediately (my bad), so I've missed my return window. I may still try pairing it with a larger hoop, but all in all, it's not worth the money.

The larger 8 in frames are lovely and exactly what I wanted. However, I had to return the entire package because the smaller 6 inch frames did not work. The hoop was smaller than the opening of the frame and did not fit in the metal framing on the back. I was disappointed because it is a lovely idea and truly beautiful. Just don't get the smaller size.
