This item was used when purchased, mentioned it on my initial review. Had it installed anyway with hopes it would be ok but at the end of December my sound system was rendered unusable. After finally getting a chance to troubleshoot the system, it turns out the item is defective.I would like a replacement product and will return this. Thank you

I used it to power 2 kenwood 10 inch subs. It was used mildly for about a year until the remote bass knob input stopped working. While it was working it did well. setting the gain seemed a little weird compared to others. Not sure what to do now.

It has everything I was looking for in a amplifier. I have had mine for a month or so. Has the bass remote with clip indicater, clip indicater on the amp and good power. And 1 ohm stable. It would be nice if more brands did the same. Works well with my two 12's. Great for the $$$.

Ok so I replaced a tired old system with two jl audio 10s decided to keep my rockford fosgate punch amp to power the new subs. Worked great we know the quality of rockford fosgate punch amps. After a few days I started burning through Fuses in the amp. Determined the amp was no good and needed something quick. I had already purchased a 4 channel recoil amp (2500.4) to run the mids and highs and is doing a remarkable job crisp clean and loud ill do sep review on that amp. Anyway so I picked up this 2 channel to run the subs and all I can say is wow wow wow! This thing pounds my new JL audios 10s and they aren't even broken in. The bass that comes is clean and it doesn't miss a low note. I can describe it but I've only heard it sound like this with a JL audio amplifier and to be honest I think this does a better job then the JL. It bass boost . You can also dial subsonic frequency to get every low end hit known to man kind. Great great great amplifier. In terms of how long it will last? Time will tell! I can tell you I drove 3hrs today highway drive windows down and pounding them the whole way the amp didn't skip a beat and never cut out once. Solid solid amp. My rockford would of cut out multiple times. For the price this a steal for amp of this kind of quality BUY IT !

Very good amp. Has a good damping factor and good filters. In other words its not gonna sound like a cheap amp. Sounds like a rf or kicker . Clipping light on the bass knob is actually pretty accurate. I only wish they would make some larger ones and keep them in stock. This one is great for a couple entry level subs or a single 1k rms sub. Also it is not strappable like it mentions in the description, nor does it have a master slave switch.

Recoil RED1200.1From my head unit to my AudioControl Epicenter to the Expert PX2R to my Recoil amps to my JBL GTOs and Pioneer subwoofer, OMG! I have three words: NICE, LOUD, and CLEAR. It sounds super nice. I definitely recommend this AMPS. They are loud and affordable, and they sound great. I recommend it 100%.

I've had it hooked to 1 Rockville punisher 12 @ 1 ohm load for months now. No problems. Seems to be good match too. I saw a dyno video where this Amp did 1332 or 1336. Either way impressive. Clip light on remote is freaking awesome and certainly seems to do its job as intended. All remotes should have a clip light in my opinion at minimum. Was going to get a D4S 13.( thier remotes have clip, volts, and temp) but my recoil 1200 is doing good enough that I'm happy for now...but in all seriousness it has surpassed all of my expectations. Especially at the $125 pp. Where it was at time when I purchased it. It's a good solid Amp so it probably won't stay that low forever

I decided to wait a minute before giving a review, the Recoil amplifier is well worth every penny, it’s RMS displacement is much underrated at 14.4V, produces more than advertised. I’m here to tell you I ran it hard, at 1ohm for well over an hour, no overheating, no protect mode, no inadequate power distribution, no complaints. I was skeptical at first, but without a doubt, power, performance, reliability, craftsmanship, and well over the 1,250Watt RMS specified, recoil can make your system sound great.

Great mono amp for the price, did me well, I jump from subs with different impedance and amp did well on all. Currently running a 15 at 2 ohms going 3/4 almost full tilt and it hammers no cap. but the 4 channel got pretty warm at low volumes and really hot at 3/4 way up, but never went into protect or cut out. I prefer the mono amps and not the 4 channels.
