This item should not be used. It contains lead. It tested positive with a reputable test, and it even says in super tiny letters on the package "not for use for water for human consumption". Don't advertise with a refrigerator if your product cannot be used for potable water. It's also not a 2 pack as advertised, but that's completely secondary to the fact that it CONTAINS LEAD.

We got this to connect the ice maker for the refrigerator in the garage. I need to also get a valve to branch -off of the washing machine's water line, but this water hose is perfect to complete the job. Thank you!

We used it right out of the box with no need for any field modifications.. it fit first try and there has been no leaks. I would recommend this product.

This water supply line is exactly what every refrigerator or ice maker should have, a steel braided supply line.Dont risk installing a plastic supply line that can kink or work loose. This braided line has solid screw in connections with high quality rubber to make a water tight sealIt worked great in my installation.

I got this for the fridge and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Great price and very well made. Screws on well and using the tape there were no leaks. Even better is that it comes in various lengths to suit what you need. RECOMMEND!!

I want to start out by saying that by being a Vine member and receiving free product does NOT in ANY WAY sway my opinion in my reviews- I am always 100% honest because I very much rely on other's opinions when I am looking to purchase products on Amazon. That being said...I'm adding a refrigerator in my basement and needed an assembly kit for in door water and ice dispenser. This assembly kit contains everything I needed to hook it up. And at a way better price than what they were selling it at the local hardware store- Highly recommend!!!

Getting ready to put the refrigerator in my new house, need a short hose - this 6-footer seems about right. Comes with 2 gaskets installed and (for whatever reason) 2 loose spares in the bag. This steel braid over vinyl hose claims a 5-year warranty....which just means that it should be changed out at around 4 years.Did NOT come with the Teflon tape shown in the product picture, but that would be completely unnecessary anyway.
