This is a pretty fun today actually and it's definitely will be enjoyable to play with for kids. That being said, it's definitely made of very cheap plastic and it's not likely to be very durable long term. That being said, it's just fine for it's purpose.The movements and controls are very imprecise and wonky, and the sounds are a bit grating, and overall the quality isn't there. But for the value proposition here, it's a fun little toy that kids genuinely do like. All these things that I might see as downsides are simply not really relevant to kids who will enjoy playing with this toy and don't exactly need better precision or anything like that. Overall, I would recommend it.

I bought this excavator for my son’s 6th birthday and it has been his absolute favorite toy! While it doesn’t scoop up much that’s heavy he’s definitely been able to pick up loose dirt and small stones. The steam function made him so excited and may just be his favorite part. The battery lasted over an hour I love that it comes with 2 batteries so one can charge while you use the other. My 12 yr old daughter is actually a little jealous that she doesn’t have one. Definitely a great toy!(Side note I bought a different brand front loader and this battery lasted 30 mins longer than that one and is faster.)
