There’s nothing wrong with the switch. It just didn’t fix the problem I was having so I sent it back.

I ordered this hoping it would replace a switch part number RCK21. It was a match size-wise and snapped right in. The spade connections are oriented a little different, but wiring was easy. The new switch has a higher current rating so I am hopeful that it will last in my small shop vac better than the RCK21, of which I had 3 failures.

It was a little tight because the plug orientation turned 90°, but the switch work good and fit and works with my Shop-Vac model QPMH500

Too small for the hole. This is most likely for the smaller shop vacs.
